Subtle Design Updates

The headlamp cluster gets cleaner internals. LED projector headlamps, turn indicators, and fog lamps are neatly housed. The all-black grille remains familiar. The bumper has minor tweaks. The wide connected LED DRL strip continues at the front.

Sixteen-inch dual-tone alloy wheels are carried over. The rear remains unchanged with connected LED tail lamps and 'Verna' lettering.

New Colour Options

Two new shades join the palette. Classy Blue and a matte Titan Grey are now available.

Existing colours include Starry Night, Atlas White, and Abyss Black. Atlas White can be had with a black roof option.

Interior and Feature Updates

The cabin theme remains black and white. The dashboard layout is carried over. The steering wheel gets the new Morse code Hyundai logo. Four dots represent the letter 'H'.

New feature additions include memory function for the 8-way power driver seat. A powered tailgate is now offered.

The front passenger seat gets 4-way power adjustment. Rear window sunshades add to the comfort.

Carried-over highlights include ventilated front seats and a single-pane sunroof. The 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster continue. Multi-colour ambient lighting and auto AC with rear vents remain.

Safety Gets A Big Boost in New Verna

Safety is where the Verna makes significant gains. Airbag count increases from six to seven. A 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor is now available. An in-built dashcam is also offered.

Electronic stability control and all-wheel disc brakes continue. Front and rear parking sensors are standard. Level 2 ADAS is carried over from the previous model.

New Hyundai Verna Powertrain Options

Engine choices remain unchanged. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol produces 115 PS and 144 Nm. It is available with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm.

Turbo options include a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. Only the top two variants get the turbo engine.

Rivals of Hyndai Verna 2026

The Verna competes in a shrinking sedan segment. Its main rivals are the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus. Both the Slavia and Virtus are due for facelifts this year.
