Audi India Records Sales Growth in Q1 2025 – Pre-Owned Sales Rise

Audi India has begun 2025 on a high note with a good sales performance in Q1 at 17% growth over the same quarter last year. The German luxury automobile manufacturer sold 1,223 units in the first quarter a good beginning to the year. Besides new car sales, Audi India's used car business, Audi Approved: Plus recorded an even larger 23% growth in sales.

Audi India's Perspective on the Growth

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Audi India Head, was positive about the brand's pace, saying:

We are delighted to begin 2025 on a good note with healthy Q1 numbers. This growth is a testimony to our customers faith in the Audi brand and our sturdy product portfolio. Having overcome the supply issues in 2024, we are well-equipped to address the increasing demand for luxury mobility in India. Our intent continues to be to provide the best products and experiences as we look to further success in the year ahead.

What’s Driving Audi India’s Success?

A key factor behind this growth is Audi’s diverse product portfolio and supply chain stability allowing the brand to cater to a wide range of luxury car buyers. The best-selling models leading the charge include:

Audi Q7 & Audi Q8 – Flagship luxury SUVs loved for their powerful performance and premium features.

Audi A4 & Audi A6 – Executive sedans that provide the best of style and technology.

Audi Q3 & Audi Q5 – Luxury mid-size and compact SUVs that attract Indian customers.

Audi RS & S Models – High-performance vehicles that thrill driving enthusiasts.

Electric Vehicles on the Rise

Audi is also creating ripples in the luxury EV space with its e-tron range gaining traction. The brand's electric products include:

Audi Q8 e-tron & Q8 e-tron Sportback - Long-range premium electric SUVs.

• Audi e-tron GT & RS e-tron GT - Electric vehicles with high-performance and electrifying capability.

Looking Ahead

After a record year in 2024-when Audi India crossed 100,000 cars on Indian roads the brand is poised to keep its good run going. With new products lined up for launch later this year and increased demand for luxury EVs, Audi India is poised for another record year.
