Old Hyundai Venue will Continue Sales Alongside New Venue

Hyundai has confirmed it will keep selling the previous-generation Venue alongside the all new Hyundai Venue model. This gives you a clear choice at the dealership.

Old Hyundai Venue as an Affordable SUV Option

The old Hyundai Venue will be sold in four simple variants. They are all called 'Kappa' trims: S, S+, S(O), and S(O)+. The big thing to note is the powertrain. It comes only with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces 83PS of power.

This strategy makes the Venue nameplate more accessible. The starting price is expected to be around Rs. 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This positions the older model as a very affordable entry into the compact SUV segment.

Which One to Choose? Old or New Hyundai Venue

This move is all about choice. If you want the latest design, new diesel-automatic, and high-tech features like the curved screen, the new Hyundai Venue is your pick.
But if your priority is a trusted, no-fuss SUV at a lower price, the older model is a fantastic deal. It will continue to compete with rivals like the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon.

Your Next Steps

Now that you know both models are available, your decision gets more interesting.
To help you choose, we have a full comparison guide detailing every difference between the old and new Venue.
If you are leaning towards the new model, don't miss our deep dives on its variant-wise powertrains and the available color options of the new Hyundai Venue.
