New Tata Curvv Dark Edition Launching This Week? Here’s What to Expect!

Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce yet another special edition SUV for the Indian market! Following the successful launch of the Safari Stealth Edition, the highly anticipated Tata Curvv Dark Edition is now on its way. According to industry sources, this all-black variant of the Curvv will see daylight for the first time this week, perhaps during the opening weekend of the IPL 2025. To add more, there will be a big presentation of the new model by none other than Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal.
Tata Curvv Dark Edition – Design & Features
Tata's Dark Edition range has always been characterized by its stealthy, premium look, and the Curvv is no different. Here's what makes the Dark Edition special:
✅ Blacked-Out Exterior: The Curvv will have an all-black body, blacked-out alloy wheels, and a Dark Edition badge for that exclusivity.
✅ Blacked-Out Chrome Accents: Goodbye chrome! All the bright bits will be replaced with a deep, glossy black finish.
✅ Premium Black Interior: In the cabin, the theme inside will be upscale all-black, giving a sporty and lavish look.
Notwithstanding the aesthetic improvements, Tata Curvv Dark Edition has all of the high-tech features from the regular model, such as:
• Level-2 ADAS for added security
• Panoramic Sunroof to provide an airy, open sense
• 12.3-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System with JBL surround sound
• 10.15-inch Digital Instrument Cluster
• LED Projector Headlamps & Electric Tailgate to provide added convenience
Tata Curvv Dark Edition – Powertrain Choices
The Curvv range is available with three ICE engine choices:
• 1.2L Turbo Petrol (118 bhp, 170 Nm) – Manual & DCA Transmission
• 1.5L Diesel (116 bhp, 260 Nm) – Manual & DCA Transmission
• 1.2L Hyperion Turbo Petrol (123 bhp, 225 Nm) – Manual & DCA Transmission
Even though Tata also sells the Curvv in EV form with 45kWh and 55kWh battery packs, the Dark Edition is said to roll out first in ICE models only. There might be a chance of a whole-black EV variant coming later, though.
