Tata Tiago EV Variant Wise Feature Explained: Here is What Each Variant Gets You
Tiago EV became ₹1 lakh cheaper after its facelift. But the real surprise isn't the price cut. It's how each variant of Tiago EV differ from each other.

Tata Tiago EV facelift launched on 28 May at ₹6.99 lakh and goes upto ₹9.99 lakh for the top variant (ex-showroom). Prices have dropped across the variant options by a full ₹1 lakh on the base.
There are three trims of Tata Tiago EV now: 1. Smart, 2. Pure Plus and 3. Creative Plus.
Here is what each variant gets you at its respective price.
Tata Tiago EV Smart: The Honest Base at ₹6.99 Lakh
The Tiago EV Smart variant runs only the 19.2 kWh battery. You get the new steering wheel, automatic climate control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear sensors, ISOFIX mounts and a tyre-pressure monitor. Outside, chrome door handles, LED tail lamps and a roof spoiler keep it from looking stripped.
But the cost-cutting shows. Halogen headlights, plain steel wheels, manual mirrors, and no infotainment screen at all. If you live on your phone and a dashboard mount — fine. But I guess you would want more so let’s move to the higher variants.
Tata Tiago EV Pure Plus: Where It Becomes Liveable
Tiago EV Pure Plus turns this EV into a normal modern car. It adds an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers and steering controls. You also get electrically adjustable mirrors with turn indicators, a day-night mirror, follow-me-home lamps, a USB charger, wheel covers, a rear defogger and a reverse camera.
The variant comes in both batteries: ₹8.49 lakh for the 19.2 kWh and ₹9.49 lakh for the 285 km 24 kWh. The catch? Headlights stay halogen, and there's still no cruise control.
Tata Tiago EV Creative Plus: Here the Whole Car Changes
Here's the part most buyers miss. Tiago EV Creative Plus costs just ₹50,000 more than the Pure Plus 24 kWh, and that gap unlocks nearly everything worth having.
LED headlights with DRLs. A bigger 10.25-inch screen. Cruise control. A 360-degree camera, a first at this price, where Pure Plus gets only a plain reverse view. Then add ESC with traction control, hill-hold assist, a blind-view monitor, rear AC vents, a cooled glovebox, a 6-way driver seat, auto headlamps and a rear wiper. For ₹50,000, that's the best-value jump in the range, and it's why most reviewers point here.
Which Tata Tiago EV Variant Should You Buy?
Buying for a fleet or a pure city runabout? The Smart does the job, and the battery rental plan drops the entry price to ₹4.69 lakh plus ₹2.6 per km. Want range and a screen without overpaying? The Pure Plus 24 kWh is the sweet spot. Want the lights, the cameras and the full safety net? Stretch to Creative Plus.
One more nudge toward the 24 kWh cars: that pack carries a 15-year, unlimited-kilometre battery warranty for the first owner. The 19.2 kWh gets eight years or 1.6 lakh km.
So the real question isn't whether the new Tiago EV is good value. At these prices, it is. It's how much screen, light and safety kit you're willing to skip to save money. The table below lays it out, variant by variant.
