Rolls-Royce's Most Powerful Electric Car Launches in India for ₹9.5 Crore: The Spectre Black Badge

Rolls-Royce has introduced the Spectre Black Badge in India with a price tag of ₹9.5 crore (before taxes). This electric luxury car is the strongest model the company has ever made. It's a sportier version of the regular Spectre, which costs ₹7.62 crore.

The Black Badge model has better performance, a darker look, and newer technology. You can buy it in cities like Delhi and Chennai. This launch shows how Rolls-Royce wants to focus more on electric luxury cars in India.

Stronger Engine and Bold Look

The Spectre Black Badge comes with two electric motors and a large 102 kWh battery. Both of these combine to produce 659 horsepower and 1,075 Nm of torque, which is the most powerful Rolls-Royce vehicle to have been manufactured. The standard Spectre produces 585 horsepower, so the Black Badge produces 74 additional horsepower.

Even though the car weighs almost 2.9 tonnes, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.1 seconds. Special driving modes called "Infinity" and "Spirited" let you use all its power for a more exciting drive.

The car's outside design follows a dark theme. Rolls-Royce changed all the shiny chrome parts to black chrome. This includes the front grille, the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figure, badges, and window edges. It has 23-inch black wheels and comes in a special "Vapour Violet" color, but customers can choose from more than 44,000 different colors.

High-Tech Inside and Good Driving Range

The inside of the Spectre Black Badge is full of luxury and modern technology. The coolest feature is the Illuminated Fascia - a glowing dashboard with more than 5,500 small lights that look like stars in the night sky. The car also has digital screen themes with names like Ultraviolet, Cyan Fire, and Neon Nights.

The cabin has carbon fiber, metal details, and high-quality leather. It also has the famous Starlight ceiling and can be completely customized to what the owner wants.

The 102 kWh battery provides a driving distance of 493–530 km (test according to the official test cycle), depending on driving style. It can be charged fast with DC fast charging, and there is regenerative braking, which assists in saving power during city driving.

To manage the additional power, the vehicle's suspension, steering, and stability systems have been upgraded. The vehicle now corners more responsively and remains stable at high speeds, yet continues to provide the smooth and quiet ride associated with Rolls-Royce.
