Toyota Kirloskar Motor reported total sales of 42,892 units for October. Domestic sales in India were a strong 40,257 units. An additional 2,635 vehicles were exported.

The growth is the real story here. Sales shot up by 39% compared to October 2024. They also grew 38% from the previous month, September 2025.

What Fueled Toyota's Growth?

Two key elements drove this performance. The festive season demand was a major boost. The reduction in GST rates under the new reforms also played a critical role.

This created a favorable economic environment. It led to increased customer confidence and more showroom inquiries.

New Models and Special Editions

Toyota bolstered its lineup with special editions. It introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition. The company also launched the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition.

These limited models offered exclusive styling. They were designed to attract buyers looking for something unique during the festive period.

What’s Next for Toyota in India?

Toyota has ambitious plans. The brand aims to launch 15 new models in India by 2030. This will include new SUVs and an affordable pick-up truck.

It also confirmed the Land Cruiser FJ for the Indian market by 2028. Massive investments in new manufacturing plants will support this future expansion.
