Skoda Octavia RS Bookings Open in India – 100 Unit Limited Run

Skoda has brought back excitement to Indian performance sedan fans just in time for the festive season. The new Octavia RS is now open for bookings online with a ₹2.5 lakh token, but there’s a catch — only 100 units are coming to India.

Deliveries are scheduled from 6 to 16 November 2025, following the official India launch on 17 October 2025.

Power & Performance

  • Engine: 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol

  • Power: up to 265 PS (≈261 bhp), 370 Nm torque

  • Gearbox: 7-speed DSG automatic

  • 0–100 km/h: claimed 6.4–6.6 seconds

  • Top Speed: 250 km/h

  • Chassis: RS-spec sports suspension, sits 15 mm lower than the regular Octavia.

Sporty Design & Cabin

  • RS-specific bumpers, honey-comb grille and dual chrome exhaust tips

  • LED Matrix headlamps and signature RS badging

  • Black-and-red cabin, sport seats, 13-inch central touchscreen, 10-inch digital cockpit

  • Wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, 360° camera & ADAS safety tech

Expected Price & Colors

  • Industry estimates: ₹45 lakh (ex-showroom) — final figure to be announced at launch

  • CBU import, so on-road prices may be higher

  • Color choices include: Mamba Green, Race Blue, Steel Grey, Magic Black, Crystal White, Tornado Red

Why It’s Special

  • First performance sedan launch after GST-cut season — but unlike mass SUVs, the RS comes as a premium limited-run CBU

  • A rare option for enthusiasts who want European sedan dynamics with track-ready styling

  • With only 100 cars on offer, expect a rush to book

FAQs

You can reserve it online on Skoda India’s website with a ₹2.5 lakh booking amount.

Q2. When do deliveries begin?
Škoda has announced 6 November 2025 as the start of deliveries.

Q3. Is it locally made?
No. It’s being brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Q4. What makes it different from a regular Octavia?
A stronger 2.0-TSI engine, lower sports suspension, RS-spec styling and interior, and a claimed 6-sec-class sprint to 100 km/h.

End Note

If you’ve been waiting for a true driver-focused sedan this festive season, the Octavia RS is finally here — but in extremely limited numbers. Make your booking early; once the 100 units are sold out, the RS badge might disappear from the Indian order books again.
