New Mini Countryman JCW Launched at Rs 64.90 Lakh

Meet the petrol-powered Mini Countryman that hits 100 kmph in 5.4s. Is this the ultimate hot SUV for India? Find out here.

New Mini Countryman JCW Launched at Rs 64.90 Lakh

In a small, stylish package, Mini has just launched the much-anticipated, fire breathing Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW) in India, with a price tag of Rs 64.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This isn't just another trim; it's the full-fat, performance-focused SUV that promises to turn every drive into an event.

What’s New the Countryman JCW Bringing?

For starters, this is the first petrol-powered version of the new, larger Countryman to hit Indian roads. Until now, we only had the all-electric Countryman E. The JCW variant swaps the silent electric motor for a roaring, traditional heart and it’s a masterpiece.

A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that churns out a massive 296 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a slick 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The result? This Mini can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in a blistering 5.4 seconds. It’s not just about city charm anymore; this is serious performance.

What Sets Mini Countryman JCW Apart?

You’ll know this is the top dog at a glance. The Mini Countryman JCW builds on the standard car's design but adds a serious dose of aggression. Look for the sportier front and rear bumpers, the menacing quad exhaust tips and signature red highlights that scream John Cooper Works. It rides on unique alloy wheels that complete the racy stance.

Mini is offering it in three classic yet bold colour schemes:

  1. Midnight Black with a Red roof and racing stripes,

  2. Legend Grey with a Red roof and stripes,

  3. The timeless British Racing Green with a Black roof.

Interior Features of Countryman JCW

Slide inside and the sporty theme continues. You’re greeted by a bespoke JCW steering wheel, heavily bolstered sports seats, and red accents throughout the cabin. The metal-finished pedals remind you of its racing pedigree and the digital screens feature special JCW graphics. For when you really need to overtake or enjoy a winding road, there’s even a dedicated ‘Boost Mode’ button to unleash the engine’s full power instantly.
