New Hyundai Venue 2025: Base vs Top Variant Design Differences

Is the base Hyundai Venue worth it? We reveal the major design differences you can't unsee between the entry-level and top-tier variants of the new SUV.

New Hyundai Venue 2025: Base vs Top Variant Design Differences

The new Hyundai Venue offers a wide range of variants. Here is a detailed look at how the entry-level HX2 model differs in design from the top Hyundai Variant HX10.

New Hyundai Venue Front Design Differences

The base HX2 variant of New Hyundai Venue presents a simpler face. It retains the connected LED DRLs and new grille shape, but the grille has a gloss black finish instead of dark chrome.

A major difference is the lighting. The base model uses halogen headlights, while the top HX10 variant gets full LED units. You also won't find front parking sensors on the base model.

New Hyundai Venue Side Profile Differences

The side view reveals more significant changes. The base HX2 rides on 15-inch styled steel wheels. The top HX10 variant gets larger 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The base model lacks roof rails, which makes it appear shorter. Its turn indicators are on the front fenders, not on the door mirrors like the higher trims. The window frames are also body-coloured instead of black.

Hyundai Venue Rear Design Differences

At the rear, both variants feature LED taillights. However, the connecting light bar on the HX10 illuminates, while it's just a black strip on the HX2.

The top variant adds a practical rear wiper and washer. Both models share design elements like the shark fin antenna, roof spoiler, and a large silver rear skid plate.

Hyundai Venue Interior Differences

Step inside, and the gap widens. The base HX2 has an all-black cabin with fabric seats. The top HX10 offers a premium dual-tone theme with leatherette upholstery.

The base model feels functional but misses the new rear seat recline function. It also lacks the panoramic screens and premium features of the top model.

Hyundai Venue Feature Gap

The base HX2 is surprisingly well-equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and 6 airbags. However, the HX10 is in a different league.

It adds dual 12.3-inch screens, a Bose sound system, a sunroof, ventilated seats, and Level 2 ADAS. The feature list is vastly different between the two extremes.

Powertrain Options

The base HX2 is available with all three engines but only with a manual transmission. You cannot get an automatic gearbox in this entry-level variant.

The top varuant of New Hyundai Vanue HX10 is offered only with the turbo-petrol and diesel engines, and exclusively with automatic transmissions.
