Expected Launch - Find MG Majestor in India by May 2025!

MG Motor India is gearing up to launch its all-new full-size SUV, the MG Majestor in India by May 18, 2025. Positioned above the MG Gloster, the Majestor is set to become the brand’s flagship SUV, offering a more premium package in terms of features, design, and overall presence. 

The MG Majestor would probably be priced at ₹46 lakh (ex-showroom). Mechanically, it would take the same powertrain from the MG Gloster, whose line-up has a 2.0-litre turbo diesel (161 PS / 373.5 Nm, 2WD) and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel (215.5 PS / 478.5 Nm, 4WD) alongside. Both these units would come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The range-topper model will have a 4x4 drivetrain. The new launch would be a great selection for off-roading.

Features

The MG Majestor will probably come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch all-digital driver's display, front ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging.

The car has a 3-zone automatic climate control, hands-free tailgate opening, rain-sensing wipers, and a 12-way power driver seat with adjustable features. The car will also include an enhanced ADAS Level 2 suite, which will have such amenities as lane change assist, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

Looks and Design 

The Majestor follows a more rugged and bold design language compared to the Gloster. It gets a large grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, angular DRLs, and a chunky front bumper with silver accents. The rear houses connected LED tail lamps, dual exhausts, and bold ‘Majestor’ branding. Once launched, it will rival segment leaders such as the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq, offering a more feature-loaded alternative in the premium full-size SUV category.
