Audi India is bringing serious firepower to the luxury SUV segment. The German carmaker will launch the performance-focused SQ8 on March 17, 2026. It slots perfectly between the standard Q8 and the fire-breathing RS Q8. Think of it as the sweet spot for buyers who want V8 thrills without going all the way to the top.

The SQ8 shares its heart with the RS Q8. It uses the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. Output is dialled down to a still-massive 500-507 bhp and 770 Nm of torque. That is considerably more than the standard Q8's 3.0-litre V6.
