MG Motor India has introduced the refreshed MG Windsor EV Pro in the market, along with a bigger battery pack, upgraded safety features, and various design upgrades. The new model features a 52.9 kWh battery pack in place of the previous 38 kWh battery pack. Consequently, the range claimed has gone up considerably, from 331 km to 449 km, making the Windsor EV Pro a more attractive choice in the electric SUV market. The car comes in the top-of-the-line Essence Pro variant and costs ₹17.50 lakh (ex-showroom) with the battery. Under MG's Battery as a Service (BaaS) model, the same variant costs ₹12.49 lakh.
Power output is unchanged at 134 bhp and 200 Nm of maximum torque. MG has not changed the same powertrain configuration, but the range boost will be attractive for buyers who drive longer distances often or need a single car for urban and highway driving. The EV accepts up to 60 kW DC fast charging, which can refuel the battery from 20% to 80% within 50 minutes. There's also a 7.4 kW AC slow charger that'll take around 9 hours and 50 minutes for a complete charge. All these alternatives have flexibility for home users as well as those who depend on public infrastructure.
The 2025 Windsor EV Pro also introduces Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which provides an extra level of active safety to the vehicle. It features such things as lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and more, assisting MG in meeting increasing consumer demand for smarter, safer vehicles. Other technological advancements include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging features, which enable the EV to charge external devices or even charge another EV in case of emergencies. These features transform the Windsor EV Pro into not only a means of transportation but also a more versatile energy solution.

Design updates feature in this version as well. The EV boasts three new shades on the exterior: Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red, so customers have yet another set of options to be trendy. To support the new exterior hues are 18-inch double-tone alloy wheels, giving customers an even upmarket visual identity. On the inside, the cabin now welcomes a new Ivory-themed interior, where the previous all-black interior took place. The design appears to be airier and more premium, assisted by amenities like a powered tailgate, front ventilated seats, and woodgrain trim elements. MG has carried over the panoramic glass roof and the large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, both of which have been well-liked among current customers.
Reservations for the MG Windsor EV Pro are currently open, and the launch prices will be available for the initial 8,000 customers. The BaaS model pricing will probably appeal to price-sensitive EV buyers willing to lease the battery separately. With a utilitarian driving range, improved feature package, and contemporary design touches, the Windsor EV Pro is set to be a serious player in India's emerging electric SUV market.
