How to Book the 2026 Tata Tiago EV: Online Booking Steps and Delivery

The new Tata Tiago EV landed on 28 May, and it costs ₹1 lakh less than the old one. Booking one takes about ten minutes from your couch. But one choice at checkout decides whether you pay ₹6.99 lakh or ₹4.69 lakh. So before you tap "Book Now," here's how to do it right.

Tata Tiago EV Price: What You're Booking

The Tata Tiago EV now starts at ₹6.99 lakh and tops out at ₹9.99 lakh ex-showroom. It sits a notch below the pricier Tata Punch EV. You get three variants: 1. Smart, 2. Pure Plus and 3. Creative Plus. You get two battery packs, 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh, claiming 226 km and 285 km. The cabin adds dual screens, a 360-degree camera and six airbags. The 240-litre boot still handles a weekend's bags for two. And the bigger battery charges 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes, with a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner.

How to Book the Tata Tiago EV Online

Head to Tata's EV website and hit "Book Now." As shown in the image at the left bottom.

A configurator opens. Pick your variant, then your battery pack, then your colour. Enter the required personal details. Choose the dealership nearest you. Pay the booking token of ₹11,000 and place the order. Your confirmation lands on SMS and email within minutes.

Want to drive it first? Book a free test drive on the same site before you pay. And once your booking is confirmed, use CarzOnWheel's EMI calculator to plan your financials while sitting on your couch.

Prefer a Showroom? Book the Tiago EV at a Dealership

Not a fan of online checkouts? Walk into your nearest Tata dealership. A sales rep takes you around the car, notes your details, and locks your variant, battery and colour. Same token, same order. Keep an ID proof handy either way.

Tiago EV BaaS or Full Price: The Checkout Choice

Here's the decision most buyers fumble. Pay the full ₹6.99 lakh and the battery is yours. Or pick Battery-as-a-Service, and the price drops to ₹4.69 lakh, but you pay ₹2.6 per kilometre for the battery on top. That ₹2.6 per km is pegged to about 44 km of daily driving. Drive little, BaaS saves you money upfront. Drive a lot, buying outright costs less over time. Tata also offers a 40 to 60 percent buyback if you go the BaaS route.

Tata Tiago EV: Which Battery Should You Pick?

City-only runs of 40-odd km a day? The 19.2 kWh Smart at ₹6.99 lakh is plenty. Want highway trips and that lifetime battery warranty? The 24 kWh Pure+ or Creative+ is the smarter long-term buy.

Tata Tiago EV Delivery: When Will You Get It?

Deliveries start in the second half of June 2026. After that, expect to wait one to two months, based on your variant and colour. Popular shades and the 24 kWh trims usually take longer. Booked already? Track your order on the Tata.ev site or through your dealer.

Final Word: Which Tiago EV to Book

So here's the move. If you're a city commuter on a budget, book the 19.2 kWh Smart with BaaS and drive home for under ₹5 lakh. If this is your only car and you do longer runs, lock the 24 kWh variant outright for the range and the lifetime battery cover. Either way, book early. The first June slots will go fast.
