Mahindra Reports Record SUV Sales in October 2025

Mahindra has shattered its own record. The automaker has just reported its highest-ever monthly SUV sales, powered by massive festive demand.

A Historic Sales Milestone for Mahindra

In October 2025, Mahindra sold 71,624 SUVs in the domestic market. This is a massive 31% increase compared to the same month last year. The figure marks an all-time high for the company.

This surge proves the incredible popularity of its utility vehicle lineup. The record was driven by strong models like the Scorpio-N, XUV700, and Thar.

Total Sales Show Broad Strength

The company's success wasn't limited to SUVs. Mahindra's total vehicle sales, including exports, reached 120,142 units. This represents a solid 26% year-on-year growth.

This holistic performance shows the brand's strength across multiple segments. It's not a one-hit wonder.

Commercial Vehicles and Three-Wheelers Shine for Mahindra

The Commercial Vehicle division also had a strong month. Domestic sales hit 31,741 units, growing by 14%. The popular Bolero Maxx range led this charge.

The three-wheeler business, including electric models, saw even faster growth. Sales jumped 30% to 12,762 units. This highlights strong demand for last-mile transport solutions.

Exports Are Growing Steadily

International markets are responding well. Mahindra exported 4,015 vehicles in October, a 15% increase. On a year-to-date basis, exports have grown by an impressive 34%.

This indicates a healthy global demand for Mahindra's products beyond the domestic festival season.

A Strong Foundation for Growth

This record month wasn't an accident. Mahindra's CEO credited strong brand pull and well-timed product refreshes. The company recently launched new editions of the Thar, Bolero, and Bolero Neo.

With a 17% growth in SUV sales for the fiscal year so far, Mahindra's momentum looks sustainable. The brand is firmly positioned as a leader in India's SUV market.
