Skoda Peaq Sketch Uncovered Before Its Full Global Reveal on 23 June

Skoda just dropped the first design sketches of the Peaq. The look is clean and upright, with slim T-shaped lights at both ends and a closed-off gloss-black grille. A full global reveal follows on June 23 in France.

About The Skoda Peaq Electric Car

The Skoda Peaq is the brand's new electric flagship, the production version of the Vision 7S concept shown at the 2025 Auto Expo. It stretches 4,874mm long on a 2,965mm wheelbase. That gives it a longer wheelbase than the Kodiaq, the seven-seater Skoda families already know.

So where does it sit in the lineup? Right at the top, above the Enyaq and the Elroq, and it's set to be the most expensive Skoda you can buy in India.

Skoda Peaq Range and Variants

The range numbers look healthy. The entry 60 variant pairs a 63kWh battery with a claimed 460km-plus. Move up to the 90 or 90x, both on a 91kWh pack, and Skoda claims over 600km. The 90x adds all-wheel drive and a 0 to 100kph time of 6.7 seconds.

Just remember these are claimed figures. Real-world range usually lands lower, the way it always does with EVs, so plan for a buffer.

Skoda Peaq Boot Space: The Seven-Seat Trade-Off Nobody Mentions

Here's the number that should make you pause. In five-seat form, the Peaq holds up to 1,010 litres of luggage, the most of any production Skoda ever. Choose the seven-seat version and that crashes to 299 litres. So the third row hands you two extra seats and quietly takes back most of your boot.

Both get a 37-litre frunk up front, handy for stashing charging cables. Inside, you get a 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen and a 10-inch driver's display. There's a head-up display that beams directions onto the windscreen, plus a glass roof that dims at the press of a button.

Tick the Relax Package and the rear seats massage, recline with footrests, and even add a foldable table and pillows. Classic Skoda, basically, with the usual clever touches, like washer jets built into the wiper arms.

When Does the Skoda Peaq Launch in India?

Not for a while. Skoda India has pointed to 2027, and pricing will follow much later. The June 23 event should reveal the production cabin and the first real cost clues. If you want a Skoda EV sooner, keep your eyes on the smaller Enyaq and Elroq instead.

For now, the Peaq is a promise: Skoda's largest, plushest, costliest car yet, built for families who want seven seats and no fuel bills. June 23 is when that promise gets real.
