Here Are the 5 Upcoming Skoda Cars in India This Year

Five new Skoda models are coming to India before March 2027. One of them is a 265 hp seven-seater that hits 100 kph faster than the Octavia RS. Another is a sedan comeback nobody saw coming three years ago. The third completely changes the EV math for Skoda. The other two are facelifts that quietly keep the mass-market sedan range alive. Here is the list, in the order they should arrive.

Skoda Kodiaq RS: The Performance Flagship

Skoda Kodiaq RS is first out the door. Skoda has confirmed a June 2026 launch, and it will come in as a CBU import. Which means it will not be cheap. Expect a sticker between ₹55 and ₹60 lakh ex-showroom, with the on-road figure creeping past ₹70 lakh in most cities.

What you get for that money is loud. The retuned 2.0 TSI delivers 265 hp and 400 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DCT and all-wheel drive. Skoda is claiming 6.3 seconds to 100 kph and a 231 kph top speed.

New Skoda Superb 2026: A Premium Sedan Comeback

The new Skoda Superb is the second launch, due around June or July 2026. The old Superb got pulled in 2023 because nobody was buying sedans. Now Skoda is bringing it back. Funny how three years can flip a market.

This one arrives as a CBU import too, which is why the sticker lands between ₹55 and ₹60 lakh ex-showroom. Engine is the familiar 2.0 TSI petrol making 204 hp, paired with a 7-speed DCT. Toyota Camry is the obvious rival on paper. But the Superb is a different conversation. It stretches nearly five metres long, the rear seat is closer to a BMW 5 Series than anything Camry can match, and Skoda is fitting it with a 13-inch touchscreen and ten airbags.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: A Refresh for the Volume Sedan by September

The Slavia facelift is next, probably September 2026. This is the launch that matters most if you are shopping the ₹11 to ₹16 lakh sedan space. Mild design tweaks, a refreshed cabin, and the same 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI petrol engines you already know. Pricing should stay close to today's ₹11.99 lakh starting figure. Honda City and Hyundai Verna are the cars to put it against. Skoda Slavia, importantly, still offers a true manual gearbox in 2026. That is increasingly rare at this end of the market.

Skoda Octavia Facelift: A Quieter Executive Sedan Return

Skoda Octavia facelift is expected by December 2026, and this is the quietest launch on the list. The regular Octavia got killed off years ago in favour of the Octavia RS, which now stands alone at ₹49.99 lakh. The facelift brings the standard Skoda Octavia name back, probably in the ₹25 to ₹30 lakh range. Powertrain stays loyal to the 2.0 TSI petrol. If you want something between the Slavia and the Superb without paying RS money, this is the gap-filler.

Skoda Elroq EV: The First Mainstream Skoda Electric Car for India

Now the big one. The Skoda Elroq is the launch most enthusiasts are tracking. It is scheduled for around March 2027 and will be Skoda's first mainstream EV for India, built on the same MEB platform that the Volkswagen ID.4 uses globally.

Three battery options on offer abroad: 52 kWh, 59 kWh, and 77 kWh. Claimed range stretches from 370 km on the smallest pack to 579 km on the largest. Knock about 25 percent off those numbers for real Indian conditions with the air-con on, and you are looking at roughly 280 km from the base and 430 km from the top trim.

Pricing should land between ₹25 and ₹35 lakh ex-showroom, which puts the Elroq face to face with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the BYD Atto 3. Skoda has not had a real EV to sell in India until now. That changes in 2027.
